Spur Festival

Spur Toronto

Spur asks, this year, what are the real and perceived threats facing a better Canada and a better world? And what are we willing to risk to build a more just and equitable society?

The Literary Review of Canada produces Spur Festival, and we’re proud to offer a discount on passes and events to loyal LRC subscribers.

This year’s theme for Spur Festival is RISK

As we head into Canada’s sesquicentennial, we tackle the issue of nation building with a particular look at what are we willing to risk to make a more just and equitable country. Subjects we’ll be looking at include Geopolitics, Environment, Energy, Health, Economics, Security and Education.

You can download the festival programme book here.
