Peter Stuart-Sheppard lives in Toronto. He was nominated for a 2015 Forward Prize for Poetry, and was highly commended in the 2016 Gregory O’Donoghue International Poetry Competition. His poetry has appeared in journals in Canada and abroad including previously in the LRC, The Stinging Fly (Dublin), Contemporary Verse 2, The Antigonish Review, Southword Journal (Cork) and Crannóg (Galway). He has been reading The Scattered Papers of Penelope by Greek poet Katerina Anghelaki-Rooke, Marina Tsvetaeva’s Selected Poems as translated by Elaine Feinstein, and Naomi Jackson Groves’s book on A.Y. Jackson entitled One Summer in Quebec
