Jake Kennedy is the author of three collections of poetry: The Lateral (Snare Books, 2010), Apollinaire’s Speech to the War Medic (BookThug, 2011), and Merz Structure No. 2 Burnt by Children at Play (BookThug, 2015). He is also the recipient of the Robin Blaser Poetry Award (2011), the Robert Kroetsch Award for Innovative Writing (2010), and the bpNichol Chapbook Award (2007). His most recent book, Made Line Sing is an invented biography of New York City poet-architect Madeline Gins (OPR, 2016).
