Andrea MacPherson is the author of two novels, Beyond the Blue (Vintage, 2008) and When She Was Electric (Polestar, 2003), and three poetry collections, Ellipses (Signature Editions, 2014), Away (Signature Editions, 2008) and Natural Disasters (Palimpsest Press, 2007). Her poetry has also been anthologized in How the Light Gets In. Andrea holds a master’s of fine arts from the Creative Writing Program at the University of British Columbia, where she was editor of Prism International. She has also been the reviews editor for Event Magazine. She teaches creative writing and literature at the University of the Fraser Valley.
