Seymour Mayne’s latest books include Ricochet: Word Sonnets/Sonnets d’un mot (University of Ottawa Press, 2011), The Old Blue Couch and Other Stories (Ronald P. Frye & Co., 2012), and Cusp (Ronald P. Frye & Co.), a new selection of word sonnets which was released in 2014 to mark fifty years since his first collection of poetry was published in Montreal. He is a professor of Canadian literature, Canadian studies, and creative writing at the University of Ottawa.
