That Overstuffed Feeling

Deep regards to Jeffrey Simpson for the incisive review of Peter MacKinnon’s Confronting Illiberalism. While I’m often aghast at the sometimes open racism I see in Saskatchewan and understand how some might be tempted to “hurry up” diversity and equity efforts by monkeying with simplistic hacks and patches offered by skewed versions of critical theory, I share MacKinnon’s view that open discourse and merit are foundational for Canadian society.
