Karen Massey lives in Ottawa, near a century-old bridge on the historic Rideau Canal. Her poetry and erasure poems have been published online and in anthologies and print publications in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, including or forthcoming in Arc Poetry Magazine, subTerrain, ottawater and Experiment-O. Both her chapbooks are from above/ground press: Bullet (1999) and Strange Fits of Beauty & Light (2014).
