Madhur Anand’s poetry has appeared in literary magazines across North America and in the anthology The Shape of Content: Creative Writing in Mathematics and Science (Taylor and Francis, 2008). She coedited the anthology Regreen: New Canadian Ecological Poetry (Your Scrivener Press, 2009). Her debut collection of poems, A New Index for Predicting Catastrophes, is being published by McClelland and Stewart in April 2015. She completed her doctorate in theoretical ecology at Western University, and is a professor in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph. She lives in Guelph with her husband and three young children.
